GLDC Staff Responsibilities
The staff is responsible for maintaining safe & reliable natural gas service to our members.
This includes but is not limited to:
- Gas Leak Detection
- Meter maintenance
- Line locating
- Gas balancing
- New infill Construction
- Cathodic Protection Maintenance
- Excavating
- Directional Drilling
- Secondary Gas Lines
- Automatic Meter Reading Services
Key Program:
GLDC Gas Co-op takes pride in the safety of your home. Your local Co-op can securely store your home or property keys and/or access codes. In the event of an emergency, if you are away, this will allow us to access your home and property to address the situation.
Emergencies can consist of:
- Fire(s) that can occur in the area
- Gas leak(s)
- Carbon monoxide leak(s)
- Gas outages
Ensuring your home’s security is crucial, especially in emergencies. If you prefer not to leave a key or access codes, providing an alternative local contact can be beneficial when homeowners are frequently away, especially for seasonal residents.
