GLDC Staff Responsibilities
The staff is responsible for maintaining safe & reliable natural gas service to our members.
This includes but is not limited to:
- Gas Leak Detection
- Meter maintenance
- Line locating
- Gas balancing
- New infill Construction
- Cathodic Protection Maintenance
- Excavating
- Directional Drilling
- Secondary Gas Lines
- Automatic Meter Reading Services
Key Program:
GLDC Gas Co-op takes pride in the safety of your home. your local Co-op can securely store your keys or access codes to your home / property in the event of an emergency while the homeowners are away and access is required.
Emergencies can consist of:
- Fire(s) that can occur in the area
- Gas leak(s)
- Carbon monoxide leak(s)
- Gas outages
It is important to know your home is secure and that it can be entered int eh event of an emergency. If you do not wish to leave a key or access code, providing an alternative (local) contact for seasonal customers is good practice if home owners are not on location on a regular basis.
